My first hill trek

I climbed about half way up these hills and have never been so tired in my life. I am determined to one day make it to the top....
.... I think it's funny how evil I look in this picture....
... and how shattered but relieved I am in this one. I had told myself at a certain time I was going home because I was meeting a friend later and also didn't want to be this high when it got dark....
.... you can see what the terrain was like. This part wasn't particualry steep but some rocks I had to climb up were just over my head so about a 6ft scramble before a bigger climb....
... the rain started to come down as well which made life on the rocks and mud quite slippy but I had fun jumping from place to place....
.... My legs were absolutely killing and I had already gone though a 2 litre bottle of water which was in my back pack along with some food that quickly went off under the heat...
.... I thought at the time I was going to faint but it was one of those thoughts that you knew wasn't going to materialise. I just battled to stay awake and descended as quickly as possible...
... I crossed this waterfall a few times. Its much bigger in other places but I didnt wanna hold my camera and climb at the same time...
... this is the bottom of the hills. The path you can see doesn't stick around for too long...
... I now look at this and think I was there. I will return but with better supplies, a bike ride to get there and some friends.... And next time I will get to the top.
